Soutdbound Bagels and Coffee Shop in Hattiesburg

I enjoy the bagels and this little gem. My favorite is the jalapeño cheddar bagel with veggie cream cheese and bacon. The chocolate chip bagel with plain cream cheese is good. The omelette are huge and good. The meat one is mostly meat!

The coffee is amazing! Made using a perkulator. Bread is made there fresh. Chicken salad sandwhich was divine.

Super cool & locally-owned in the heart of downtown Hattiesburg. Go for the bacon, egg and cheese on the "everything" bagel...amazing! Fast service in a quaint, old-school diner while the trains roll slowly by outside.

A gem of a place, locally-owned, run by friendly people, delicious food, super-cool ambience.Great place to take your kids for pancakes, your friends for brunch, or your morning headache after a long night out. Don't be too mad if you can't immediately find a seat -- it's a popular and cozy place, but the people come and go at a steady clip.

Great place to eat! I’ve only every had the omelettes and French toast but it’s always good. I’d highly recommend if you’re in the area. The customer Service is good and feel of the restaurant is cozy.

Great food at a great price and a cute, hip atmosphere. Had a delicious cheese omelet with a garlic bagel. Coffee was perfect drinking temperature.

The place is small and simple but is one of my favorite place to receive bagels. They are yummy and the overall atmosphere is very homey and welcoming

Great food. Great downtown atmosphere. Coffee is delicious. I got the Supreme hash and it was excellent. My wife got the lox and cream cheese and she loved it. I had a bite and was very surprised how good it was. The idea of fish on a bagel w/cream cheese is just not tasty in my head but I am now a believer! It doesn't taste fishy at all. This place is always a treat and I love getting to come here for breakfast!

Coffee shop may be the wrong label for this place. It's a totally retro dinner. Enter, and return to the 60s-70s. Very cool, and decent food.

The staff were nice not just to the customers but each other also which matters. If you have a typical image of a bagel and coffee shop this is exactly that. There isn't that much seating inside but it's nice they offer outdoor seating.

One of the best, perhaps the best, breakfast joint in Hattiesburg. I recommend the French Toast.

The food has always been good, but the last time I was there, my omelet was raw in the middle. Like gooey, uncooked eggs. If I go back, I'll stick with the bagels.

Had visited previously and remembered a great conversation with the chef. The chef this time was also friendly, but unfortunately the girl at the register was completely indifferent and more interested in her phone while the food was just average.

The best for anyone and any age. A must try and Hattiesburg staple.

Amazing breakfast foods and delicious sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey sandwich and the roast beef. I highly recommend the pancakes, though you can only really eat one since it's the size of your plate. Overall an great spot to eat downtown!

Southbound is a sweet little spot in downtown. The food is always good and the atmosphere is great.

We love this place! We eat there almost every Saturday. They have great food. The service is always good. The people are so friendly. It is a smaller place but I think that’s what I love about it. Perfect breakfast date.

Wonderful place & great bagels! They also do lunch sandwiches & eggs. Coffee is delicious. You can get bags of yesterday's bagels on the cheap, as well. Only downside is that you have to pay cash if your order is under $10.

I love the food, but beware: they do close early. I showed up at 1:40 when they close at 2 and I was told they were closed for the day. I feel like if a place is only open 7 hours a day, they shouldn't close early. This is the second time this has happened to me. Last time I showed up at 1:30. Was definitely frustrated.

This is the best out of the way coffee, bagel, sandwich shop ever! Small. Quaint. Nicely appointed 4 the area. Terrific friendly ladies working fm early morn thru lunch. If ur in the Hattiesburg area ... This place is a must stop for a quick bite.

Great little breakfast place!! Everything I’ve had here is very good! The bagels are really good as well. The employees are always nice and helpful.

We’re so glad we stopped here on our way from Jackson to Biloxi. The service was fantastic and the bagels and coffee were delicious. We will be back the next time we drive through town!!

Great breakfast and lunch bagels best bagel shop I've ever been to.

I got the hash supreme and it was just delicious and it was full of flavor. The service was genuine and extremely helpful. Will definitely come back!!

Wow, I like breakfast for dinner, one of my party got the French toast platter, another the everything bagel and eggs and I got jalapeño bagel with cheese omelet, and everything was great and we had more food than expected!
